It has come to our attention that today's relatively large drop in the price of WICC has caused considerable distress and concern for everyone. We are aware that this is a serious challenge for investors and community members and therefore we feel it is important to issue a statement to you to help you understand the current situation.
First and foremost, we sincerely regret to our investors and community members for the impact of the WICC price fall.
After an investigation, we discovered that the downgrading of WICC by the Korean exchange Bithumb, which prompted some coin holders to sell out of panic, was the most significant factor in the price decline of WICC. A significant portion of WaykiChain's funds were also stuck in AEX for a variety of reasons and could not be released for market maintenance. Additionally, due to governmental regulation, our initiative lost a significant portion of its operating budget last year. Together, these elements have an impact on the state of the market today.
However, we want to emphasize that the WaykiChain project is the result of our team's years of dedication and hard work, and the expectations and trust of our community fans. We firmly believe that WaykiChain has the ability to overcome the dilemma at hand.
In order to solve the current problem, we will take active measures to maintain communication with major exchanges and strive to resume trading on WICC as soon as possible. At the same time, we will continue to invest more in technology development in due course to bring more ecological innovations to the community.
We would like to apologize again to our investors and community members, and thank you for your continued support and understanding.
